How Did We Make These Screencast Tutorials?
From time to time, I'm asked how we made the screencast tutorials for our products. So here is the skinny:
The screencasts were recorded and edited while doing live searches on my development system. The development
system is a 17" Intel Core Duo 1.83Ghz iMac with 1Gb of RAM. A 22" cinema display is connected to this dev
system so it has dual monitors. It's a pretty basic and old intel iMac that I'm quite fond of.
The sound was recorded with a Blue Snowball USB microphone. I used ScreenFlow to record and edit the
screencasts. Any graphics that I added, were edited with our product ImageWell. And this website was built
with our other product ShutterBug.
And that's about it! I hope you'll find these tutorials both helpful and easy to follow.
